We celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Sea Otter.

Last month we celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Finless Porpoise at Toba Aquarium, and today, on October 3, we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Sea Otter.
In celebration, from October 1st through October 31st, we will be holding an event dedicated to Sea Otters. This event will include
a talk session by a veteran sea otter keeper with 40 years of experience in caring for Sea Otters, and a photo exhibition of photos submitted by visitors.
On the 1st, an event was held where a special ice cake made by the keepers was presented to the Sea Otters to celebrate the 40th anniversary.
