2020.07.18On July 14th, 2020, Arare (one of our South American Sea Lions) gave birth.
Starting July 16th, the baby is available for public viewing.

We are currently unsure when the baby will be available to be viewed by the public.

2020.05.17We have been closed due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19); however, Toba Aquarium will be reopening at 9:00 AM tomorrow, May 18th, 2020.

2020.04.17Due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19), Toba Aquarium will be closed all day from April 10th through May 6th.
We are closely monitoring the news regarding the current situation and wish to follow all government issued regulations.
Depending on the information we receive, Toba Aquarium may continue to be closed after May 7th. We appreciate your understanding.

2020.01.20In response to the global issue of marine pollution caused by plastic waste, from January 18th through March 31st, 2020, we will be holding an event to highlight the current state of this problem.
To do our part in order to help combat marine pollution, as of January 18th, Toba Aquarium will discontinue providing plastic equipment such as cutlery and plastic shopping bags in its stores and restaurants. We appreciate your understanding.
